new words

so a couple of new words popping out of wen bin's mouth... bubble. this was during a bath... our friend britt gave us some bubble bath that comes with a bubble blower... and as we were playing in the bath, he blurted out bubble! now everything that floats is a bubble- the balloons (he actually said balloon a week or so back) we have floating in the house are bubbles.

the other word is apple. on sunday night, as a second course to his dinner... i was opening up the applesauce and he pointed at the jar and said 'ah-ple'. after a couple repeats, 'apple'.
pretty cool, it is, to see your kid enlarge his vocabulary. i wonder what the next word is going to be... hopefully not 'crap'

ball!

the other morning, wen bin was playing around the living room in the company of mom and grandma murray. he was working himself around a few obstacles placed in front of the tv/stereo area. he then started to point and say 'eehh' and continued doing it a few times. mom and grandma were both puzzled and asked wen bin what he wanted. after a couple of seconds of frustration, he just pointed again and blurted 'BALL!'. grandma got up and looked behind the tv and sure enough, there was a blue bouncy ball waiting to be played with.
