peas and carrots

we started on aiden on rice cereal a few weeks ago. started slow, and now we're up to peas and carrots. we introduced carrots on sunday, 07.17.05. he ate them up. thoroughly enjoyed them. the first bite was interesting. he gave us a weird face as if to say, what is this stuff? and why is it orange? but after a couple of bits, it all went down. five days later, we introduced peas. the first trial didn't go so well. he gave p the 'i don't like this' face so she didn't force the issue. a day later, we tried again and this time, he didn't think they were half bad.

6 months

so aiden is coming up on six months. time seems to be flying by, but we are enjoying every minute. we've taken quite a few photos since the last post, but the ones here are the most recent. we went and visited our friend gretchen, who assisted with the birth, and aiden met his first dog. the dogs were quite inquisitive and aiden wasn't at all scared.
