on saturday, 15 november 2008, a rode to lunch with training wheels.
after riding through the sticks, two flat tyres ensued.
four patches in the front tyre.
three patches in the rear tyre.
wheels back on, saddle lowered about 5mm...
a was off riding' w/o training wheels.
he rode up and down the block about a half-dozen times and that was that.

sunday morning, 16 november 2008, a rode down to the town center for breakfast, rode home... rode around the alley behind the house, then to and from the park. all on two wheels.

a new chapter of riding has begun for this little guy.

soccer

on thursday, p happened to stop by the bladium south of our house to inquire about their facilities. turned out that on saturday, they had a lit'l soccer camp open house.
so we headed down there this morning. aiden took a 20 minute soccer lesson with one of the coaches and we signed him up for the spring session. they had a raffle right after we signed up and turned up a winner of a year's membership for aiden and one free 12 week soccer session.
with the sign up, aiden got a jersey and shorts; number three. it starts next week.
